I received these when my children were 2 and 4 years old. They have now had them for over a year and they still to this day play with them. These pretend food items are rather sturdy but unfortunately, our kids being toddlers, decided to chew on a few of the pieces, so a few of them do have teeth marks on them. I love the fact that this product has a TON of food to choose from. This product not only teaches our kids the variety of foods but also things like colors, shapes and what foods go good well with other foods, etc. My kids use this product all the time to play on their pretend stove and they even have a set of pretend pots, pans, plates, etc. to cook this food on. The product comes with a huge variety of foods which include, spaghetti & meatballs, hot dogs, pizza, broccoli, ice cream, hamburgers with all the helpings, etc. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has kids, especially children that love to play pretend like our kids do. You get a LOT of items with this product for the amount the item cost. We've had this product for over a year and have yet to have any problems out of it.

Great addition to play kitchen!
Awesome addition to play kitchen! Super happy with this purchase. Glad to see that it's well made, easy to identify, no weird smells or jagged edges on them and this may sound silly but mostly healthy options to identify as my niece learns new words and discovers new foods while she plays in her kitchen.
The play food looks real and seems durable.
The food looks real and it's durable; both plusses for me. This play food surprised and impressed me. Play food tends to either be thin plastic where if you step on it, it completely smashes or cracks and then you have to throw it away, or super hard and fake-looking. This play food is a cross between both extremes and it works well. One of the bananas got stepped on. It dented inwards but didn't crack and it's still in our food basket (meaning we didn't have to throw it away. It's still playable and looks good). I have kids' plastic plates that I got from a dollar discount store and the play food fits nicely on them. The food's size is perfect for a preschooler's hands and there's a nice assortment of foods and items (like canned goods and condiment dispensers). It's a great pretend play food set that looks like real food and seems like it will last. Durability is big for me with toys because I don't have the money to quickly replace toys if they break or get damaged. I need the item to be worth every penny I spend because I have four children under the age of four and I need for them to each be able to play with these items as much as possible before it can't be used anymore. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because, while I adore everything else about the kit, it comes with what's supposed to be 'boxed goods' like baking mixes and such. They have a plastic rectangle inside of the box to make it more sturdy, but I found the boxes to be a little too small for pretend play. After my kids opened the boxes trying to cook and bake and had a hard time closing the boxes back up, I just took the rectangles out and used them for color and shape recognition games. Each of the rectangular pieces were different colors so it did serve more than one purpose. Overall, this is a better-than-average play food set. I don't think you'd regret it if you decide to buy.
Nice fun product
The only reason I needed to update was to clarify my earlier review. Not all products are soft some of the pcs, the one that got dented was the sausage. Also need to mention that, the fact that all the milk carton are actually plastic unlike the other pretend food sets that u buy where all carton are just plain paper boxes that easily get squashed .
Christmas Gift 2019
Really cute, realistic. The girls had the ones that came with their kid Kraft kitchen Christmas 2018 but after a year the food were mostly broken. Got this pack to replace the originals (this is much bigger) & it's great, they actually play with their kitchen again. Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is that the plastic on some stuff is really thin & pieces dent easily (lime, mustard bottle) already had to throw away 1 broken piece because my 2 year old pretends to eat but actually bites it and the lime was beyond fixing so it got chucked.
